Precision’s factory investment is prompting it to expand headcount by 30%.

Due to continued growth and the need for further capacity in the factory, Precision Refrigeration will be investing £250,000 in its production facilities at Thetford, Norfolk.

Precision will be restructuring the way the factory is laid out and the way fridge units are manufactured, to further increase the factory capabilities, and meet the rise in demand from its customers.

MD Nick Williams said: “Thanks to the hard work of all of our staff and partners, we have grown through difficult market conditions and uncertain global times. We have seen our sales increase by 25% year on year over the last 10 years, and we forecast this increase to continue going forward.

“With our continued success and growth ambitions, we are also announcing that we will be recruiting an additional 30% employees in the factory, to help with the growing demand of our products.”

Precision’s factory in Thetford manufacturers commercial refrigeration for the catering market across the world, and is one of the local area’s biggest success stories. From its beginnings in 2008, the company has grown to become one of the key players in the commercial refrigeration market, and a major employer in the area.
