Bradley Smoker, which sells its popular food smokers into leading restaurants and catering establishments, is supplementing its B2B business with a special product range for the home.
The brand new Bradley Counter Top Smoker, which is priced at £195, has been described as a “gourmet gadget”, which the company insists is the first of its kind in the UK.
It offers hot smoking in a compact two-rack unit that sits comfortably on the countertop. The smoker uses convection oven technology to efficiently hot smoke meat, fish and vegetables for up to six hours.
The front of the machine features a digital timer, temperature display and control panel which is designed to help users achieve the sort of results produced in professional kitchens.
Bradley says the smoker burns a flavour bisquette once every 20 minutes, creating a quality smoke flavour that is four times cleaner than smoke produced by loose wood chips burned in a fry-pan or burn-box.
Last month, Bradley announced that Raymond Blanc’s restaurant chain, Brasserie Blanc, had installed its specialist food smoking equipment at 20 of its sites in the UK.
On its website, Bradley lists a number of catering equipment dealers as stockists, including Cater-Kwik, Catertech South West, Court Catering, Stephensons and Tower Catering Equipment.
