Zerica UK has detailed the key role its latest recruit, Dean Griffiths, played in the recent national supply partnership it signed.
Director Gemma Tuxford commented: “Dean has really hit the ground running. He has already negotiated a UK distribution partnership with Cascade Water Systems for sales, distribution and support of Zerica’s water products with discussions also underway with drinks machine distributors – it has been an impressive start.”
Griffiths joined the Zerica/BeviLaNatura team in the UK last year. He switched from Lincat, the largest manufacturer of catering equipment in the UK and brings with him a wealth of industry experience and business acumen.
Just after he came onboard, the Hot’n’Cold drinks dispenser won the Energy Efficiency category at the Foodservice Equipment of the Year Awards 2018 and was called ‘a shining example of foodservice equipment innovation’ by Catering Insight’s sister title Foodservice Equipment Journal.
Griffiths said of his time so far at Zerica: “What is really exciting here is the technology – I’ve never seen anything like it. The depth and breadth of IoT in the BeviLaNatura drinks dispensers is truly remarkable.
“Two-way communication with the machines is happening right now with engineers able to modify parameters and fix problems remotely. I also deal with Zerica’s water units and this technology is starting to cross-over to the water dispenser products too. Just look at the Kolumna H2O Touch launched this year.
“There is so much to do and so much I can add.”
