Zerica’s i-Wall hydration station has received two Red Dot Awards.
The accolades recognise the best in product design and innovation and date all the way back to 1955.
This year, 50 international expert judges selected the winners, guided by assessment criteria such as aesthetics, functionality and smart technology. Competing against thousands of products from around 60 countries, the i-Wall secured Product Design Awards in recognition of the product’s design, IoT capabilities and connectivity.
The beverage dispenser will now be marked with a Red Dot Winner Label and presented in the Red Dot Design Yearbook, available at international exhibitions and online.
The new generation IoT-enabled built-in hydration solution delivers filtered ambient, chilled and sparkling water to offices or restaurants. The i-Wall uses smart technology for a customisable user experience with a touchscreen interface and connectivity.
The unit includes sustainable features such as programmable ‘energy saving’ time slots and is plumbed-in, eliminating the need to produce, transport, store and chill bottled water. Users can programme portion sizes and target temperature, be guided by alerts for filter and CO2 canister replacements and track real-time usage.
Zerica’s Auxilia dedicated internet portal to monitor and modify parameters can be accessed remotely from any device. Company videos/photos can be uploaded to use onscreen, and the system is able to contact distributors raise a ticket for a technical support request to resolve issues remotely.
