North Yorkshire-based kitchen house Holmes Catering Equipment is looking to recruit an experienced service engineer to join its in-house maintenance team.
The position, which is for 39 hours per week, is based at the company’s head office in Full Sutton, York, although the successful candidate will need to be able to drive to customer sites for repair jobs.
Holmes says it wants to hire an engineer with experience in service, repair and maintenance of commercial catering equipment, ideally with COMCAT 1,2,3 and 5 17th edition 2391 electrical qualifications and ECS card. It says plumbing and refrigeration experience is “an advantage”.
Its job description states: “This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company, where valuable experience can be used in the service department, dealing with clients, spares/service requirements and all relevant administration work.”
It adds that candidates should have excellent communication skills, be able to deal with clients at different levels, be prepared to be hands-on, and help develop the service department.”
