York-based Fishers Catering Supplies has launched a brand new website as part of a strategy to use the web as a major channel for business growth in the next 12 months.
The company, which has more than 30 years’ experience in the catering supplies sector, has built up a large client base amongst the restaurants, cafes and bars in the city of York and surrounding area.
However, it has expanded the online side of its business over recent years to gain more work outside the region and it hopes its move to revamp site will help to develop that further.
It sells a wide range of products through the site, from crockery and tableware to dishwashers and microwaves.
Company director, Graham Fisher, believes the web holds the biggest opportunities for the company going forward.
“We’re committed to investing in the online side of the business and wanted to make sure that we had a website which reflected the quality of our products, service and the business as a whole,” he explained.
Fisher insists the firm is “really pleased” with the new site, which was designed by specialist web firm Sayu, and has pledged to invest further in its online strategy to increase the visibility of the Fishers Catering brand.
“We know if we can reach the right audience it’ll make a big difference in our monthly sales as we have some of the best value around on many product ranges,” said Fisher.
