Wrap Film Systems raises money for Hospitality Action

Wrap Film Systems has raised £500 for Hospitality Action as a result of its Wrap Challenge.

The firm challenged hospitality professionals to use its Wrapmaster aluminium foil, baking paper and cling film dispenser in creative ways as part of the competition.

The winner of the challenge received a £500 cash prize and a smartphone, while Wrap Film Systems also pledged to donate £5 to Hospitality Action for every video made.

Paul Feery, marketing director, Wrap Film Systems, commented we are delighted to be able to donate £500 to Hospitality Action and help them continue their vital work. I’d like to thank everyone who got involved in the Wrap Challenge – we had some very creative entries and a lot of fun raising money for a very good cause.”

John Runacres, a sous chef at Anglo American in Central London scooped the £500 cheque and smartphone, impressing the judges with his wrapping skills by making a spinach and salmon roulade.

The Wrapmaster comes in two types – the Duo model can dispense two materials simultaneously, and is said to save up to 40% of space compared to singular dispensers, while the Compact version is suitable for smaller kitchens with limited space, taking up the same area as a traditional 30cm cutter box.
