Michelin-starred chef Wolfgang Puck is reportedly set to be planning a new restaurant on the banks of the River Thames.
The Austrian-born chef is said to be eyeing up a second London restaurant following the opening of CUT, a modern American steak restaurant, in the Dorchester Hotel two years ago.
According to the Evening Standard, Puck will open a new waterfront restaurant and bar as part of the Candy Brothers’ £400m Sugar Quay development project.
Few details have been released about Puck’s intentions, but earlier this week Christian Candy’s CPC Group confirmed it had struck a deal with The Fishmongers’ Company to acquire the freehold interest in Sugar Quay.
“We will start the development activity shortly and we expect the building to be finished by late 2016,” said Candy.
The 280,193 sq ft residential development is located close to Tower Bridge and will comprise 165 residential apartments across 11 storeys.
