Winterhalter is preparing to replace its GS500 Series with a new range of pass-through machines that it will formally unveil to the market next month.
The manufacturer intends to unleash a prototype of the new warewasher when it appears at the LACA exhibition for school caterers on July 10-12.
The range will then be rolled out in September.
Winterhalter claims the pass-through machines will feature new technologies that save energy, water and chemicals. The company insists they will also be “highly adaptable”, so that whatever the local conditions in terms of water quality, hardness and pressure, the machines will be able to deliver the best possible hygienic wash results.
“This is an important launch for LACA because so many schools use pass-through machines,” said Paul Crowley, marketing manager of Winterhalter.
“For most school situations, they deliver the ideal combination of capacity, performance and reliability. Our GS500 Series has won awards for energy efficiency and low running costs. The new machines build on that success to offer even better cost savings and wash results.”
