At Host 2019 at the Fieramilano from today until Tuesday, Winterhalter will be presenting its latest technology-packed warewashing solutions.
A centrepiece of stand D11 in hall 5 is the new UC Masterpiece undercounter warewasher, which is said to be Winterhalter’s most energy and water efficient appliance in its class, and features added functionality and the brand’s upgraded Connected Wash technology as standard.
The warewasher manufacturer will also be presenting the company’s latest PT passthrough dishwashers, MT conveyor systems and UF utensil washers at the show.
Branded the Masterpiece due to its claimed superior performance, the UC range offers ‘best-in-class’ results, despite cutting water consumption by 25% and running costs by 22%. This efficiency is due to a total redesign of the wash arm, which changes the water channels and jets to optimise the water flow, creating an improved washfield.
A 117mm hi-res full colour touch screen controls the UC Masterpiece. The screen’s reinforced glass is designed to protect the electronics and respond to the lightest of touches – making it possible to operate it with gloves on.
With the upgraded version of Connected Wash built-in, users can connect the UC Masterpiece to the internet to monitor and update it remotely. Through the Connected Wash app, operators receive machine and operating data in real time, so it’s possible to optimise the entire washing process. This also means that service providers will be warned in advance if a component is failing, so that they can arrange a site visit before it comes a breakdown issue. The Connected Wash technology is also built into Winterhalter’s latest PT and UF series.
There will also be sections of the Winterhalter stand devoted to the latest water treatment systems and to the company’s range of cleaning chemicals. As well as warewashing products, the range includes all the specialist cleaning and hygiene chemicals a foodservice operation requires. It includes the expanded BLUe range of eco-friendly chemicals, designed to work effectively yet with minimal impact on the environment.
