Winterhalter camera stunt exposes washing secrets

Winterhalter will truly give dealers and end-customers the inside track on how its warewashers work at next year’s Hotelympia — by fitting a camera inside one of its UC Series machines.

The stunt will allow visitors to see what goes on during a wash cycle and shed light on how technology such as VarioPower ensures glasses come up sparkling clean.

The UC series of undercounter glasswashers are now with a glass door and illuminated interior. As well as delivering a bit of a ‘wow’ factor, the glass door also reassures guests that hygiene and cleanliness standards are high, according to the company.

Winterhalter, which will have glasswashing experts on hand to answer any queries, will also use its presence at the February show to highlight its reverse osmosis water treatment system: the RoMatik XS (eXtra Small),

RoMatik XS has a height of just 469mm and depth of 515mm, yet Winterhalter says it can process up to 90 litres of water per hour, removing 98% of particles.

Additionally, the company plans to set up a chemical laboratory at its stand showing how its chemicals cope with different types of water hardness.
