With the government’s roadmap out of lockdown continuing, Williams has updated its guides on bringing refrigerators, freezers and coldrooms back to service safely.
As well as guides aimed at the needs of operators, Williams has created separate, more technical versions aimed at engineers and dealers. They should allow dealers to offer a full service and accurate advice to their clients.
The operator guides cover everything they need to know about recommissioning refrigeration equipment after a long period of downtime, so they can be sure that it will be ready when they need it, avoiding the issues that can occur if the tasks are not done properly.
Tasks include cleaning the interior thoroughly, closing the door after it has dried, checking the power cable before plugging it in, and monitoring the equipment to make sure it is pulling down to the correct temperature.
Williams also provides support for any operators with further questions or specific issues that need to be resolved. The guides, and contact information for the support team, can be found in the info centre on the Williams website.
