White’s Foodservice Equipment has provided the commercial pizza equipment for Scottish restaurant group Di Maggio’s latest site in Northern Ireland.
The Redditch-based supplier installed a double-stacked XLT oven and AVI capture hood for the venture at Castlecourt Shopping Centre in Belfast.
White’s is the exclusive UK agent for XLT conveyor ovens, which are manufactured in the US.
“As this system utilises approximately 50% of normal extraction rates, this was a no brainer for a shopping centre installation,” said White’s sales manager Clive White.
The oven’s drop-down shrouds and valance were also powder-coated to meet the colour scheme of the restaurant design.
“Due to the unique way in which the heat is captured by the AVI hood system, with its low extraction rates and super quiet operation, Di Maggio’s savings on utilities alone made the AVI hood and XLT oven combination the perfect choice,” insisted White.
White’s supplied and installed the equipment with the assistance of local distributors Martin Contracts from County Antrim and JD Catering Supplies from County Tyrone.
