Scandinavian warewashing firm, Wexiödisk, is preparing to showcase its new WD-6 Glass hood type glasswasher at this year’s HRC exhibition.
Launching to the UK market on stand P501 during the show’s run at London’s ExCel on 3-5 March, the WD-6 Glass has been designed to allow operators to achieve the best glassware results at venues with a high turnover of glassware such as bars, pubs and restaurants.
This is thanks to a combination of glassware-specific technology and new ‘glass lift’ mechanism.
Powered by a simple ‘on/off’ button, this mechanism allows water to evenly run down the outside of each glass.
The stand will also be home to a range of eco-friendly warewashing solutions including the WD-4S, WD-153 +ICS and the PRM (pre rinse machine).
Replacing the requirement for a labour intensive, traditional hand shower – a unit that can cost an operator substantial amounts in fresh water and heating energy – the PRM works by utilising the warm, chemically enriched waste water from the adjacent warewasher to pre-rinse the plates, prior to entering the dishwasher.
