The Welsh Purchasing Consortium is seeking to establish a framework agreement for the supply, installation and removal/disposal of heavy canteen equipment to 10 of its member authorities in Wales.
The framework agreement is estimated to be worth £3.7m over the next four years.
Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is acting as the lead authority on the tender contract, which has a deadline of November 12th.
According to the contract notice, the agreement is divided into four Lots, with the maximum number of participants expected to be 72.
The requirement is to establish a framework of suitable suppliers for each Lot that can supply the individual authorities named in the notice.
As well as specifying the supply of heavy canteen equipment to authorities in South-East Wales and West Wales, the framework also makes provisions for services related to full kitchen installs and re-fits carried out during the course of the contract.
