Welbilt has reopened its demonstration kitchens, with the first masterclass launching on Tuesday 13 April and was fully booked within hours of it being released.
A schedule of further dates is already in place to run throughout April, May and June, all focusing on helping operators to restart their businesses.
Steve Hemsil, sales director UK and Ireland, Welbilt said: “After what seems like an eternity, we are back! Our demo kitchens are open and we are running masterclasses across our Guildford and Sheffield kitchens as well as linking up with First Choice to use their facilities in Cannock.
“We’ll be following strict Covid protocols and will need to limit the number of people that we can have at the masterclasses, but it will be absolutely great to see people again and demonstrate in person how our equipment can help businesses to get back on track.”
The Welbilt masterclasses will initially focus on Convotherm, including the new Convotherm maxx, and Merrychef. Coinciding with the roadmap to hospitality opening, attendees will be able to see the equipment in action and understand how it could assist menu preparation, speed, improved cooking processes and a consistent standard of food quality.
Hemsil added: “We are particularly excited to demonstrate the recently launched Convotherm maxx so customers can understand how it can maximise time and processes within a kitchen, while still delivering the most amazing food, and we are also offering free commissioning on the maxx for a limited time.”
