Crem’s new EX3 espresso machine can be customised with individual colours and finishes.

Welbilt has introduced a new concept line of espresso machines to its Crem portfolio, the EX3, a fully customisable professional group machine.

Having been designed from a 360-project approach, the new range aims to put the needs of the operator at its forefront, both from a technical and design point of view.

End users can configure their individual EX3 model, both internally and externally, as Anders Bäckström, field marketing manager for Crem UK and Ireland, explained: “Without a doubt, the stand out USP of the Crem EX3 is its customisation capabilities: from selecting the colour, finish and type of barista lights, right through to the various customisable technical aspects of this model such as electronics and number of boilers and groups.

“This revolutionary new range is the definition of an espresso machine that is designed for each individual outlet.”

Whilst ergonomics and user experience have been key to the development of the EX3, Crem has also focused on the quality of the espresso. Featuring what is said to be pioneering technology for in-cup quality, the EX3 should deliver a barista-standard espresso, and comes with a cool touch wand for safety.

The unit also features what are claimed to be robust hydraulics and a PID controlled temperature.
