Welbilt furthers project management excellence with Catering Insight Awards

Welbilt has returned to sponsor the Catering Insight Awards, in association with Atosa, for the second year in succession.

Continuing to support kitchen scheme excellence, the cooking and beverage equipment manufacturer is once again backing the Distributor of the Year – Project Management category, one of 15 awards which this year will be presented at London’s prestigious Bloomsbury Ballroom on Thursday 29 November.

The success of the 2017 ceremony was one of the key deciding factors in Welbilt’s decision to return, according to UK and Ireland sales director Steve Hemsil: “Last year’s event was a fantastic, thoroughly enjoyable evening which was superbly hosted. Not only were the awards themselves well presented, but the food was of exceptionally high quality, making for a very memorable event!”

He continued: “The Catering Insight Awards provide an excellent platform to highlight success within the industry.

“We’re delighted to be able to continue to support such a great event with our sponsorship of the ‘Distributor of the Year – Project Management’ category. We work very closely with distributors and they play an extremely important role to ensure that our brands reach the correct users every time.

“The ‘Distributor of the Year – Project Management’ Award recognises the company that stands out for delivering a very special project and the hard work and dedication from the distributor that it has taken to achieve and deliver that particular project.

“Not only are we looking forward to meeting the award nominees and seeing both familiar and new faces on the night, but we’re also excited to see how the event has grown following its move from its previous venue to the Bloomsbury Ballroom in 2018!”

Hemsil praised the initiative behind the awards too: “The event offers the opportunity for distributors across the country to showcase their successes and for those successes to be celebrated in a fun, yet professional and engaging environment with their peers. For us, it’s a much anticipated event of the year and we look forward to seeing everyone there.”
