Welbilt brand Merrychef will be sponsoring coffee shop giant Costa’s charity cycle from Morecambe to Hornsea over this weekend.

A team of 20 from the well-known Whitbread group brand will cover 150 miles in two days on 9-10 September as part of the Costa Foundation Cycle. The route starts on the west coast and then crosses the Pennines with an overnight in Leeds before crossing Yorkshire on day two.

This is the sixth annual cycle fundraiser that the Costa team have undertaken and is said to be one of the toughest challenges to date. All the proceeds raised will be going to the Costa Foundation to build and run a school in Uganda.
