Watermark grinds market with new Gaggia unit

Watermark has launched the new Gaggia MD64 coffee grinder, an appliance that has been designed to produce uniformly ground coffee at the correct degree of fineness for modern professional espresso machines.

The system boasts an automatic shut off sensor so that it grinds just enough coffee into the dosing chamber to ensure maximum freshness and aroma.

The integral tamper, on the front of the grinder, meanwhile, packs the fresh grounds ready for the espresso machine.

With a hopper size of 1.4kg, the MD 64 is capable of grinding between 8kg and 10kg of coffee beans per hour.

Ireland-based Watermark serves as the main sales agent for the Gaggia range of espresso coffee machines and ancillary equipment in the UK by Watermark.

Earlier this year the company revealed it was expanding its distributor network by bringing on board more partners throughout the UK.
