Water dispenser manufacturer Blupura has officially opened its new headquarters in Recanati, Italy.

The Culligan-owned firm has moved its base of operations just 300metres from its previous premises, but its new plant, at 11,000metre2, is three times larger.

Last summer the production department moved to the new headquarters together with the technical department, logistics and purchasing departments.

Now the sales, marketing and administration departments have all transferred over to make the move complete.

Blupura’s new base houses a team of 125 people and a production capacity of 100,000 dispenser units per year on 10 production lines.

It also has larger offices and showcases its product innovations in a new showroom.

The official opening was presided over by Culligan International president and CEO Scott Clawson. Also in attendance was the EMEA president of Culligan International, Laurence Bower, alongside the two co-founders of Blupura, Gianni Grottini and Luca Costantini, together with the mayor of Recanati, Antonio Bravi.
