Classeq’s commercial manager Brett Duffy has moved to parent company Winterhalter to take up a new post.
He has joined the firm as business development manager, where his responsibilities will include helping key distributors develop their business, particularly with premium customers.
Duffy, who has been with Classeq for 18 months, already has a comprehensive knowledge of Winterhalter’s business, not just from his recent ties with Classeq but due to his work with the brand in Australia.
He previously served as national sales manager for Winterhalter and Classeq’s Australian operations for seven years prior to moving to the UK in 2012.
Winterhalter’s UK sales director, Andy Salter, said: “Brett’s a wizard when it comes to warewashing: not only does he have a comprehensive understanding of the sector, he also takes a fresh approach that will be a great asset in the sales team.”
Duffy said he was delighted to be back selling the Winterhalter brand. “Having experience of the Australian market gives me a slightly different angle on things,” he commented. “I’m excited about being part of the Winterhalter UK team — it’s a very professional outfit.”
