The Camberley, Surrey based company, now in its fourth year, has recruited new engineers in order to expand into the North West of England and Scotland.
Alfamax provide sales, service and repair for all glass and dishwashing equipment within the leisure and healthcare industries.
The company was formed by Director Rob Jones, after the demise of Clenaware, where he was sales and service manager. The manufacturing division of Clenaware was purchased from the administrator and continues its success, but Jones decided that there was still a need for an efficient and friendly service business, offering a national presence but with a local feel.
The company began with two local southern based engineers, themselves ex-Clenaware staff, and has expanded slowly over the last couple of years to now have five full time field staff, an office administrator, and co-Director Phil Jones who manages finance and marketing.
Alfamax has agreements with suppliers Clenaware and Direct Catering for new equipment, and close ties with a network of other independent service businesses, who are used periodically when workload is at its peak, providing that local service on a national basis.
The plan is to expand further over the next couple of years in terms of geography and client base, increasing their presence within the NHS and general healthcare industries.
