Charvet is seeking a new sales development manager ideally based in London and Home Counties to help develop and manage increasing demand for its renowned prime cooking products.

Charvet has a fast growing customer base including restaurants, colleges, hotels and, increasingly, restaurant chains.

The company works exclusively with professional catering equipment distributors and kitchen design houses in the supply and installation of Charvet equipment. Leads are generated in-house and via distributor partners.

Charvet was voted number one ‘Chefs Choice’ by readers of Restaurant magazine for the quality of its modular heavy duty cooking appliances.

In 2012 the company introduced the Pro700 series, medium-sized but heavy duty modular equipment, competitively priced and perfect for the smaller kitchen and which it says is proving a big hit for its cooking power and durability with professionally run restaurants and chains.

The right candidate will need proven selling skills and enthusiasm, a knowledge of consultants, dealers and major buyers.

Drive and energy are also essential attributes, as is an aptitude for ‘cold calling’ and prospecting.
