Oil filtration systems supplier Vito has moved to extend the level of support it offers customers and distributors by appointing a full-time business development manager.
The company has brought in former Retigo UK chief Tomas Vanek to the company and given him the remit of developing new business and overseeing regional national accounts for the firm.
Iain Addison, director of Vito UK, said: “Tomas’ appointment is a very significant step for Vito UK as we need to expand the business due to growth.
"He will work with existing accounts to grow their business and to establish new key accounts.”
Vito has recently enlarged its product portfolio with the introduction of new X1 and XS machines, the latter of which has been developed for kitchens where space is limited but who still require a sophisticated oil filtration solution.
Addison said the company believes the new range will help it tap into the quick service restaurant market in particular.
Prior to joining Vito, Vanek served as the sole UK sales representative for Czech combi oven manufacturer Retigo.
He oversaw the entire UK operation and grew the business during his time in charge.
