Vision on the open planes

Vision Commercial Kitchens has designed and outfitted a new catering facility at terminal 3 inside Manchester Airport.

The brief for the Lion & Antelope was to provide a contemporary revisiting of a traditional English pub, offering a high standard of food and beverages coupled with a positive customer experience.

Vision provided an open style pass for the kitchen in order to present a visually appealing cooking offering.

The new outlet was designed to complement the clients existing catering operation within the terminal; Trattoriia Milano.

Due to the minimal space allocated for the preparation and storage areas, logistics played a large part within the design to ensure that the high volumes of orders could be supported in a timely fashion, which would therefore reflect in the customers’ experience being positive.

Vision believes it ensured the outlet was designed to be more than capable of coping with the high volume of orders within a busy airport environment. The company stated: “The feedback from the client was very positive, especially in terms of the operational flow, visual aesthetics and the high quality and durability of the equipment fitted by Vision.”
