The team at Vision Commercial Kitchens is taking part in several events in order to raise money for the distributor’s chosen charity of the year – The Christie Charity.
In April, Team Vision took on its first challenge, Gung Ho, which is the world’s biggest inflatable 5k run.
The next event on the calendar is Rough Runner which takes place in June, where the team will face another 5k run, this time with TV game show-inspired obstacles.
The final event booked so far is Tough Mudder in September – a further 5k of muddy challenges and obstacles.
Vision will be considering which other events to participate in, to fundraise for The Christie Charity throughout the year. Already the team has raised over £2,000.
Steph Bryant, corporate fundraising coordinator at The Christie Charity, said: “Congratulations to Vision Commercial Kitchens on a spectacular start to their fundraising for The Christie. The team have a fantastic level of enthusiasm for the cause, going above and beyond to support and raise awareness. Thank you to all involved and keep up the great work.”
The Christie is the largest single site cancer centre in Europe, treating more than 44,000 patients a year. Based in Manchester, it is an expert in cancer care, research and education, and has been pioneering cancer research breakthroughs for over 100 years.
The charity continues to have exciting and ambitious plans for the future; however, its vital work would not be possible without the generosity of others. To donate to Team Vision’s fundraising efforts, click HERE.
