Heywood-based distributor Vision Commercial Kitchens has made a bright start to 2017, with four new members of staff joining the team.
John Mills joins as national sales manager, heading up the firm’s major expansion into the one-off and light equipment sector. He has a wealth of experience in field sales and sales management, so the company believes he will be a valuable asset.
He commented: “This is an exciting and promising new venture for Vision and I believe it has excellent growth prospects; therefore I am delighted to be overseeing it. We have already started recruiting sales people and we have plans to recruit more over the next few weeks and months.”
Vision’s first area sales manager for the light equipment and one-off replacement project is Matthew Astbury. He lives in Sale and will be predominantly covering the North West.
Furthermore, the distributor is boosting its maintenance capabilities, as David Andrews has been recruited as national service manager. In this role, he will oversee all operations within the service department and help to grow this part of this business.
Andrews is from Stourbridge and is a fully qualified commercial catering engineer with a number of years’ experience out in the field.
Vision has also welcomed Emma Spencer to its service department. She is from Rochdale and knows the catering industry well, with previous jobs in the restaurant trade and customer service.
She commented: “I’ve really enjoyed my first few weeks. Everyone is great and has made me feel part of the team.”
