Viessmann’s appearance at this year’s Commercial Kitchen helped to shape its ideas on UK strategy.

Refrigeration manufacturer, Viessmann Refrigeration Solutions, is currently in the process of implementing a new strategy into the business, with the aim of repositioning itself within the UK market.

The changes within the company began 6 months ago with the appointment of new MD, Paul Broadhurst, who joined Viessmann from refrigerated display cabinet manufacturer, Hauser, where he also held the role of MD.

As Hauser’s MD for just over 7 years, Broadhurst joined the business with much experience, having started his career 36 years ago as an engineer at Winair Refrigeration.

Since this time, the Viessmann has been working on bringing a fresh new approach to the UK market, with the team developing new plans for the near future.

Broadhurst said: “I am delighted to be part of the Viessmann UK team and since my appointment as MD 6 months ago, we have been working on new ideas and future plans which we are excited to start developing in more detail.

“Viessmann has been in the industry for over 45 years and we have a dedicated and experienced team of professionals who are committed in helping the business to grow and succeed. We want to show to our customers, and potential new ones, exactly how brilliant Viessmann refrigeration systems are and the benefits they can bring to the foodservice industry as well as industries outside of this.

“At the moment, we are currently developing ways that we can effectively get the message out there that Viessmann systems are ideal for places such as retail operations, supermarkets, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies, hotels and more. With Viessmann, there really is a solution for all.”

Viessmann’s product portfolio includes refrigerated and deep-freeze display cabinets with both remote and plug-in versions, as well as cold and freezer rooms and accessories for installation and maintenance.

Manufactured at Viessmann factories in Germany and Finland, the products are represented by local sales offices in 18 countries throughout Europe, including the UK, and are backed up by a network of partner companies.
