Scandinavian Cooling Solutions is now part of the Viessmann group.

Viessmann Refrigeration Systems has taken over Scandinavian Cooling Solutions (SCS), which is a well-established refrigeration company and service partner in Denmark.

SCS and Viessmann work closely together to deliver commercial refrigeration and freezing solutions to the Danish market, and the merger is aimed at giving customers an optimal service from the planning phase to the implementation and maintenance of projects.

Frank Winters, CEO of refrigeration solutions at Viessmann’s German headquarters, said: “In recent years, we have had great success in growing our service and installation capacities in Europe. With the acquisition of SCS, we continue our strategy with the shift to becoming a turn-key supplier to the refrigeration market in Denmark. Denmark has been selected as the next country where we want to take this important step.”

Henrik Vildenfeldt, CEO of Scandinavian Cooling Solutions, said: “With Viessmann, we can further develop our service functions for both our customers and our employees. We work closely with Viessmann in refrigeration and freezing, and the two companies have always worked together as one team. As of today, we are one company – Viessmann Refrigeration Systems, and we will serve our customers with turnkey solutions from one source.”

Jens Christian Callesen, CEO of Viessmann Refrigeration Systems concluded: “Together, Viessmann and SCS will be able to offer even more comprehensive turnkey solutions for the benefit of our Danish customers. We are pleased that our collaboration with SCS has resulted in us now being able to combine our competencies, and we welcome SCS to the Viessmann family.”
