Victor Manufacturing has promoted Steven McGarvie to UK sales and marketing director, following the departure of Michael Inwood earlier this year.
McGarvie first joined the servery equipment manufacturer in 2009 as northern area sales manager before leaving to work for Foster for 2 years.
He returned to Victor 18 months ago to serve as general manager, where he has been responsible for the company’s contracts and projects division.
McGarvie detailed: ‘’When I returned as general manager 18 months ago, it was because I was sold on Phil Williams’ vision for the future of our company. To now have a front row seat and be able to influence that vision is an exciting position to be in, and something I am very proud to be part of.
“Despite the current situation we all find ourselves in, Victor have worked hard to make sure that we come out of this as strong as ever, pushing on with the momentum we gained at the HRC show in March.”
MD Phil Williams added: “I would like to welcome Steven to the board of directors and wish him every success in his new role working with the commercial team.
“Steve has proven himself to be a valuable member of the management team at Victor. His wealth of experience and ability to motivate & support those around him are what makes me confident he will succeed in this role.”
