Victor launches a food-to-go evolution

Victor’s Evolution display range was unveiled at the Great Hospitality Show.

Victor Manufacturing has launched a new display range designed specifically for retail food and drink.

The Evolution range – suitable for coffee shops, delis, convenience stores and food-to-go outlets – was officially unveiled at the Great Hospitality Show.

A heated multi-jet display unit and a refrigerated display are the first of four models available from the Evolution range with a series of others to follow.

Peter Brewin, marketing and communications manager at Victor, said: “These versatile displays maintain core temperatures whilst also enabling effective presentation of products – an essential element in boosting sales in the food-to-go market.

“The feedback and interest we received at the Great Hospitality Show was very positive and we look forward to launching more products from the Evolution range in the near future.”

Featuring polished and satin finish stainless steel with toughened glass screens, the Evolution units are available in hot, ambient and chilled versions suitable for either assisted or self-service applications.

The heated unit uses a variable velocity fan assisted system which circulates air over heat elements in the base and two shelves. An independent temperature control manages each heat zone.

The refrigerated unit uses a self-contained refrigeration system to circulate chilled air over the base and three shelves. A microprocessor based temperature control with automatic defrost and condensate handling system should enable trouble-free operation.

Both units can be supplied with a choice of stainless steel, coloured plastic coated steel or wood laminate base fascia panels. They also feature LED lighting, a hinged rear opening glazed door and are supplied on four low level castors. Optional extras include shelf edge ticket strips, castor covers and a range of base wrap options.

Brewin added: “Victor has designed the Evolution range in response to our customers’ requirements. Sales in the food-to-go market continue to increase year-on-year and the latest units will ensure food outlets can take advantage of this growing opportunity.

“And as with all Victor products, every unit in the range comes with a 24-month full parts and labour warranty.”
