Valoriani UK has created the ‘Valoriani To-Go’ brand for its mobile pizza ovens.

The firm has been supplying these units since 2003 and believes they have always been competitively priced as well as being high quality.

Part of the Valoriani To-Go range is the Piaggio Ape pizza van, an outdoor wood-fired option featuring a Valoriani FVR UK 100 oven. This was originally launched in 2005 and is suitable for larger catering events.

The Piaggio Ape can also be flued for indoor use and includes a hand wash facility, on-board storage, pull-out and folding stainless steel surfaces and specialist insulation to prevent burns. The van can be customised to any required design.

Another Valoriani To-Go inclusion is the Forno Bici, a pizza oven attached to a geared tricycle conversion. Suitable for batch catering or vending, it features a Valoriani Fornino UK 60 al fresco wood-fired oven, which can cook a 30cm pizza in 90 seconds. It is said to have robust weather resistant construction and comes with hidden stainless-steel work surface, plus discrete storage area.

Finally, the professional Valoriani wood-fired trailer oven features a Vesuvio Igloo UK oven built on a twin-axle braked trailer. Said to be able to cope with high volume events, the oven is formed from Valoriani’s cotto clay and is claimed to retain heat well.

It cooks five or six 30cm pizzas at once and is said to reach 300-450 degrees centigrade in an hour from cold. The next day it is claimed to reach this temperature in 20 minutes. All Valoriani To-Go ovens have DEFRA licences for use, even in Smoke Control Zones.
