Catering equipment supplier Valera has launched its 2018/19 product catalogue to detail its many new ranges.

The latest offerings are now showcased for distributors to use as a tool when going to see customers. These include the reportedly high-selling Valera Microwaves, which were launched to the market in 2017 after 3 years of trials. They are fully stocked in all three sizes of 1,000W, 1,800W compact and 1,800W large capacity.

Other additions include Panasonic’s metal door inverter microwave and professional convection oven, United Range’s new series of chilled and heated matching multideck grab and go displays, the Xtra-View extra visual glass grab and go display, countertop bottle coolers from Osborne Refrigerators, the Minimal range of jewellery-style modular counters, and bespoke counter ranges.

Valera has ensured that most ranges are highly stocked to meet the demands and requirements of its distributor partners, and it has removed products from its catalogue that didn’t have sufficient back-up from international manufacturers.

The catalogue’s counter solutions section has been redesigned to make it easier to glean information, by splitting it into industry sectors such as butchers, delicatessens and ice cream parlours.

Marketing and sales manager Kurran Gadhvi revealed: “We held off producing a catalogue due to volatile exchange rates after Brexit announcement and swallowed the cost for a year to assist our distributor partners.

“But now Valera has had a record breaking first half of 2018 with many major deals across the UK and Ireland alongside our distributor partners. Our stock holding is at its highest due to streamlining our product range and more warehouses.”

He added: “We have a great logistics team, taking items into site for customers rather than just kerbside delivery and we offer unpacking and positioning, installation and disposal.

Valera has seen real growth in bespoke counter designs and installation, which it puts down to being part of the Unitech Group. Furthermore it reports its induction hobs have been specified for a lot of major tenders and projects in the past year, which it believes is due to their quality and 3 year warranty.

Gadhvi commented: “Quotations on both our project side as well as CaterQuotes have been the highest we have ever had per month.

“Project management alongside distributors has been the key to Valera’s success on larger projects this year.”
