Valera agrees distribution deal with Fagor

Valera has announced a distribution partnership with catering equipment brand Fagor.

The company, which is was bought out of administration by Unitech-owned Corsair last year, this week said it was launching Fagor’s newest combi ovens to the market.

The portfolio, called ‘Advance’, comes in five different sizes and three different levels of performance: Advance Concept, Advance and Advance Plus.

Advance ovens feature a powerful steam generator, a new generation eight-inch touch screen TFT screen, manual and automatic cooking programmes, and a ‘multi tray’ system which monitors the time and temperature of each tray independently.

In addition to combi ovens, Valera is stocking dishwashers and glasswashers from Fagor.

Other suppliers working with Valera, which is now based out of Corsair’s operations in Banbury, include counter and display brands Jordao, Scaiola and Vista.

Valera has its own dedicated office and warehouse facilities at the site, and since the change of ownership three months ago it has been rebuilding its portfolio.

At the time of the change last year, Pratap Gadhvi, who remains in charge of the Valera business, stated: “This is an exciting step forward for Valera and we look forward to being part of the hugely successful Unitech Industries Group. It is our intention to affiliate the new business with the main trade associations including CEDA, Cedabond and the FCSI at the earliest opportunity and I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our suppliers and distributors for their support during this period of change."
