Catering equipment manufacturer Sammic is seeking to appoint a Regional Sales Manager covering London and the South.
In order to fulfill the requirements of this role now and into the future, the person selected is likely to have ambitions to succeed within a demanding, sales-driven and technology-driven organisation.
A proven sales background and ability to meet sales targets is essential, but equally important is the ability to contribute to the continuous improvement within the organisation and to focus on its long-term success. The ability to manage your own performance, as well as work closely with other management and support staff is important. Also, an understanding of the importance of marketing techniques within the sales function is vital in order to support the planning of change to ensure long term viability.
Experience in the catering equipment sector is essential, also very important is an understanding and ability to apply new techniques in terms of customer relationship management, sales planning and process, and an ability to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders, including government institutions and blue-chip companies.
