Hoshizaki is a global market leading manufacturer of refrigeration products sold in over 100 countries worldwide. The business, founded in Japan, has been trading for over 70 years, employs over 13,000 staff and has a global T/O of £2bn.
Hoshizaki is known for its premium ice machines. In 2008 it acquired Gram – a recognised leader of commercial refrigeration.
The company is now looking to appoint an account manager to cover the North West area of the country. This is a field-based role covering the North West of England – from North Wales to northern borders. This is an area which requires excellent journey planning and diary management.
Tasks include: sales and promotion of the full range of Hoshizaki and Gram products to a network of catering equipment distributors. The account manager will need to build a strong professional relationship with the customer base – having a good knowledge in this area would be an advantage, along with the heavy equipment and competitor market too.
Successful applicants will need to have a proven track record of growing business within this field and plan effective sales calls that are goal led in terms of activity and long term expectations.
Candidates will be expected to regularly communicate with the national sales manager and build good relationships with colleagues both externally and internally. A team player is a must.
