Utopia has added the Barista range, designed to provide the right cups for the discerning coffee drinker whether it’s an espresso, a flat white or another specialist brew.

Barista is made from vitrified porcelain, which is said to give the best quality at the most affordable price.

The cups come in seven colours: blue, grey, green, white, black, mocha, red and cream, while the different styles have been refined for different serves.

The Espresso cup is a 2-3oz measure and served with a handle. The small size should help to lock in temperature, with the narrow base concentrating the flavour.

The narrow base also performs the same function for the Cappuccino cup, which is accompanied by a matching saucer. The large surface area of the cup highlights the foam topping and any barista art.

Similar to the cappuccino cup, the Latte must fit the volume, but as a latte is 11-15oz it needs to accommodate the amount of foam and barista art that goes into the drink.

The Flat white variant is a taller, smaller cup due to less foam, which should bring more flavour to the coffee.

Suitable for americano serves, longer filter coffee and speciality tea serves, Tulip has a shape that is designed to bring the flavour through the cup, but the compact structure should keep the temperature locked in.

Rounding off the range, the Mighty cup is specifically for those large 12.25oz coffee serves, upsized lattes, big hot chocolates or speciality brews.
