Utopia has introduced the Orchid collection of white tableware, which is designed to be creative and subtly dramatic.
The plates and bowls in the range have a pastel white colouring and damask-inspired raised pattern around the outside.
For longevity, the Orchid tableware is made from vitrified porcelain. It’s light, as modern production methods allow the body to be thin but robust enough for busy service.
This means the collection is designed to be practical and durable, and Utopia is able to offer a 5 year edge chip guarantee on all Orchid products.
There are four versions available: a 26cm (10.25in) and a 19cm (7.5in) lipped plate and a 13cm (5in) and 10cm (4in) bowl. The lip on the plates is 24mm and 19mm high respectively, the outside of which is decorated with the raised damask pattern.
The bowls have straight sides and are 73cm and 59cm high respectively. The damask pattern creates a border around the bottom of the outer sides.
Josh Rammell, marketing manager at Utopia, said: “White tableware gives the chef’s creativity a chance to really stand out. However, the new Orchid collection adds another dimension with its damask patterning, a white tableware with character.”
