Ohio-based food transportation equipment manufacturer, Cres Cor, has introduced its latest HotCube3 technology to the UK.

The new model HC-UA-11 is a three quarter-size holding cabinet which can be used both indoors, powered by electricity, and outdoors via a new propane fuel hybrid heat system, which is designed to maintain safe holding temperatures of up to 93°C.

Built rugged for transport, the unit can transport a variety of foods and has capacity to hold up to 22 steam pans or 11 sheet pans.

The HotCube3 features a 1,500W heating system to maintain the correct temperature for holding food, plus utilises standard 1lb propane tanks for up to 8 hours of hold time.

A recessed well is provided for a spare 1lb propane canister, and the appliance can be converted into a 20lb tank system with 20lb hose adapter accessory.

Other option accessories available include customised powder coating with an end user’s brand colours and logo, natural gas adapter, 6” modulus casters and extra heavy duty transport angles.

The battery indicator shows current battery status while an optional solar panel can charge the battery when no electric capabilities are available.

The internal frame is said to maintain structural rigidity with a standard perimeter bumper that protects the cabinet body and walls from damage, and the smooth interior’s caved corners are designed to prevent food particle/grease buildup.

Heavy duty 8″ swivel casters are fitted, and two are equipped with brakes.
