Just before Covid-19 changed the way we work, the latest event created specifically to bring Cedabond members and suppliers together was hosted by Unox at the offices of First Choice Group in Cannock.
Unox has over 70 different models in its range but the main purpose of the event was to introduce dealers to the latest additions to its portfolio in the shape of its Cheftop/Bakertop ‘Big’ Ovens, Evereo and SpeedPro units.
The ovens were demonstrated by the brand’s business development chef, Duncan Parsonage, who gave the dealer representatives an insight into the unique features and benefits of the new models.
One attendee, Ben Hatherley, MD of Hatherley Commercial Services said: “The Unox equipment portfolio was excellent and to see all the equipment in one place was a real benefit as we only really see brochure images and spec.
“And it’s great that Unox sales and service work as a team as I feel very comfortable selling equipment in the knowledge that I will get both technical and culinary support throughout.”
Peter Kitchin, MD of C&C Catering Equipment was equally enthusiastic: “I think the quality of the ovens means that they pretty much sell themselves. And now, with the backing of Unox Italy, I believe they are a potential game changer.
“For me, the outstanding product on the day was the Evereo ‘hot refrigerator’. It was absolutely amazing and the food it produced yesterday was of an unbelievable quality: so many different types of food served from the same oven.”
Cedabond commercial director Mark Kendall analysed: “This was another great example of the benefits of bringing Cedabond suppliers and dealers together under one roof.
“From the dealer perspective there really is no substitute for getting hands-on when it comes to learning about how equipment works and the benefits to the end user.”
