Unox has been approved by the Craft Guild of Chefs as an official business partner, supporting chefs with a range of products which are designed to drive kitchen efficiency through innovation.
As part its partnership with the Craft Guild, Unox also extended its sponsorship of the CGC’s National Chef of the Year culinary award. Nick Smith, head chef at Vacherin/Ashurst in London, was presented with the 2021 title in September’s final, beating off competition from Derek Johnstone (second) and April-Lily Partridge (third).
Gary Nunn, MD of Unox UK Ltd, said: “We put a lot of focus into research and development, which allows us to offer an innovative range of products that help overcome everyday challenges for busy chefs. This includes Mind.Maps technology, a data-driven approach to oven control and operation which helps chefs to get the most from their equipment.
“We’re extremely proud to be named as CGC partners and to have been able to continue our sponsorship of the National Chef of the Year award.
“We’re looking forward to working with the organisation going forward to help showcase the potential of our products and to support chefs in driving efficiency, reducing waste and achieving compliance in their kitchen, all in a cost-effective way.”
Unox supplies a range of ovens and kitchen equipment including the Cheftop range of compact, countertop and ‘Big’ combi ovens, Bakertop range of pastry ovens for bakers and the Bakerlux Shop.Pro and Bakerlux Speed.Pro, for bakery operations in commercial settings including retail.
