Universal supplies the Baron cooking equipment brand to the UK market.

Universal Foodservice Equipment is relocating from the Caterham premises it has spent 20 years occupying.

As the town centre is being redeveloped, including the Baron cooking equipment supplier’s building, the company is heading to a new base.

MD Roger Flanagan commented: “We are taking this opportunity to move to a more rural location which hopefully will support our operations for the foreseeable future.”

The new headquarters will still be in Surrey, just 3 miles away in the village of Bletchingly.

All the firm’s contact details will remain the same, so Flanagan and his team believe there will be little disruption.

He detailed: “We are beginning the moving operation soon and all will be installed by the end of June.”
