Universal Foodservice Equipment, the specialist UK importer of Baron cooking equipment, has revealed the latest upgrades in the Italian manufacturer’s 650 series.

The last major update in this range was in 2018, so the Ali Group brand has released a new brochure to detail the 650 series’ new capabilities.

The heavy duty series includes gas and electric ranges with either static or fan ovens. Based on a 650 back to front size, the range features high power induction hobs with one, two or wok zones.

Other variants number griddle plates up to 1metre in length, single or twin pan fryers, gas or electric, lava rock gas griddles, electric contact griddle with humidifier, fixed bratt pans, refrigeration under and worktops and bases to fit all.

Splashbacks are included to protect rear surfaces.

Universal MD Antony Aris said: “In these times of coronavirus there may be many outlets needing to upgrade but have smaller budgets than anticipated before the closedowns.

“The Baron 650 series is a heavy duty but value for money range which might fit requirements.

“All units can be suited to create a complete cooking range at approximately 20% below the cost of a standard Queen suite.”

Aris concluded: “This line is extremely good value, high power and a multitude of configurations to suit all small to medium operation on a budget and comes with the legendary Baron reliability and quality built in.”
