Universal reverted to previous pricing for the Baron EVO fryers following dealer requests.

Baron cooking equipment supplier, Universal FSE, is reverting to its 2018/9 pricing for all EVO gas and electric fryers models, until at least the end of 2020.

The UK importer has made this move following requests from its dealer network, and in conjunction with the Ali Group brand.

Universal MD, Tony Aris, said: “Budgets are tight everywhere in our market sector, with distributors and their customers having to reduce costs wherever possible.

“Also, the need for energy savings and reduce oil costs are of paramount importance to all and for chefs, clean oil and accurate, instantly controllable frying is becoming more and more essential in modern day kitchens.

“The Baron EVO fryer range does all that and more and is completely suitable with the rest of the Baron Queen range.”

The fryer series includes full size touch screen computer controlled operation, which allows the storage of preset temperatures and times. The management software regulates oil temperature and modulates the power delivered according to workload to optimise consumption and use.

EVO models also feature automatic timed basket lift and a built-in auto filter system and are designed to deliver a rapid recovery and heat up time.

Aris added: “We are delighted to offer the EVO at the best prices to our customers as we know that once used, customers will not want to return to the traditional units.”
