UK firm warms to catering equipment sector

A Norfolk manufacturer of high performance products and induction heating tools has devised a commercial cup warmer that it believes will satisfy demand from hospitality operators.

Inductive Logic says the G2-1 is ideal for use in bars, cafes, bistros, hotels and restaurants where there is a need to efficiently pre-warm cups for use.

Constructed using brushed stainless steel and glass with three storage shelves, the cup warmer accommodates a range of different cup sizes from espresso to latte.

Trade price for the product starts from £450 excluding VAT, which the company insists makes it wholly affordable while delivering savings in efficiencies.

Inductive Logic came up with the unit after talking with customers which were heating cups and latte glasses individually with hot water or steam.

It says this method is not only expensive for establishments serving hot beverages, but time consuming and can cost sales.

The G2-1 Cup Warmer can hold up to a hundred 60mm espresso cups or 60 coffee cups. Items are heated to a temperature of 38°C-40°C by three modern heating elements integrated into the shelves.

The firm is now planning a commercial coffee machine, which will be available from summer 2014. The tabletop, modular unit will be aimed at offices, factories and other workplaces.
