Middleby UK rapid cooking equipment brand Turbochef has detailed why it wanted to support the Unsung Heroes category in this year’s Catering Insight Power List.

The publication profiles 50 top distributor executives each year, with the nominations made by the industry itself. One of five categories, Unsung Heroes pays tribute to the tireless efforts of individuals who may remain behind the scenes but are still intrinsic to a distributor’s success.

Middleby UK MD Kenny Smith detailed: “Turbochef believes in recognising every person in the process of catering equipment, which makes the Unsung Heroes category very important. Without such people the whole process cannot be completed successfully.
