Foodservice equipment buying consortium Cedabond has boosted its membership with the arrival of three new distributors this month – two catering equipment suppliers and a catering consultancy.
Signing up on 1 May, Ascot Wholesale supplies everything from optics to cutlery, glassware to saucepans. The Berkshire-based company was established in 1999 and has become one of the South of England’s fastest growing glassware, bar and catering equipment suppliers.
The second joiner, Premier Trading UK, has been offering commercial catering equipment since 2006. The company purchases directly from either the manufacturer or principal distributor, supplying branded equipment alongside some own range products. Once sourced, the products are assessed over time, before being accepted in the Premier fold.
The third new Cedabond member to sign up on 1 May is Dragon Catering Consultancy. The Denbigh-based operation is headed up by Mike Ridder and specialises in CAD designs, consultancy installation and commissioning of catering equipment. Dragon is also a specialist in energy saving, green policy, CO2 emissions and heat recovery among other things.
Chairman and executive director of Cedabond, Phil Martin, commented on the membership growth: “We are delighted to welcome three very worthy new members who we know will make a great contribution towards Cedabond’s continued success. It is only by working closely with dedicated partners that we can achieve our goals and build on last year’s record-breaking achievements.”
