Anthony Pettit has joined Trak and Hupfer as business development manager to help the manufacturer with its aim to gain a stronger position in the UK.
Pettit has joined Trak with ten years of experience in the catering sector, and has been tasked with growing business and accounts for both Trak and Hupfer.
Hupfer is the parent company of Trak, and since Trak’s recent rebrand, there is now more of a focus on bringing support to customers based in the UK with both Trak and Hupfer.
Philipp Schumacher, director at Trak, said: “We are delighted to have Anthony on board with us, and we hope that he can bring his current knowledge and skills to bring something fresh to the team.”
He added: “Our aim is to provide the highest standard of customer service we can to customers in the UK, and to make sure that we are offering as much support as we possibly can. We want the customer experience of dealing with and purchasing from Trak to be as positive as it can be.”
Pettit joins Trak after previously working for Brakes Catering, commenting on his new role, he said: “I am very grateful to have been given this opportunity to be a part of Trak, especially since now is a very exciting time for the business. I have a really keen interest in the catering equipment industry, so I am hoping to implement what I have learnt over the past 10 years into my new role as national business development manager.”
Since joining Trak, he has spent two weeks in Coesfeld, Germany, at the Hupfer headquarters where he has received training on products and learning about the business.
