Pizza equipment specialist Linda Lewis Kitchens is poring over its prospect list after reporting a strong reception to its products at the Northern Restaurant & Bar Show earlier this week.
Founder Linda Lewis told Catering Insight the company has already rebooked for next year’s event after seeing an improvement in the number of high quality visitors to the show this time around.
“We did the show last year and felt it had been a waste of time there had been lots of doom and gloom from visitors saying that they were struggling to keep their heads above water,” she said. “Many of the restaurants said last year that they had been offering 2-for-1 deals working twice as hard for half the return.”
“This year was an all together different story there was a real ‘buzz’ everyone we spoke to were either expanding their existing business or planning new openings it was a real inspiration. We came back into work on Wednesday to our first order from one of our dealers from the show so we have got results already.”
Oldham-based Linda Lewis Kitchens focused on marketing its “niche” products at the show, including its Flywheel slicer, Vapour Grill and ‘3-step’ pizza equipment package.
The company was founded six years ago and works closely with associations such as CEDA, Cedabond and the FCSI.
